Known for his dynamism and insightfulness, Robert brought with him a wealth of experience having been in the hotel industry for over seventeen years.

Robert joined Le Méridien Saigon from his previous role as Director of Food and Beverage since November 2014 and was one of the core members during the pre-opening period. He has spent the last twelve years living and working in different Asian countries such as Singapore, Oman, Bangladesh, Indonesia, India, China, Thailand and Vietnam.
Starting his career as a Chef, Robert demonstrated his skills and talent that ensured an ascent to Executive position in various luxury five-star hotels around Asia. Having been involved in several task forces within Marriott properties such as St. Regis Singapore, St. Regis Bali and recently, JW Marriott Phu Quoc, his vast experience has transformed into expertise and equipped him with an immense capability to deliver results in an upbeat hospitality industry.

At the same time, the hotel also promoted Huy Nguyen, currently Director of Rooms, to Executive Assistant Manager - Rooms at Le Méridien Saigon. From 2014, Huy brought to Le Méridien Saigon his suitcase of twenty years working in hospitality. He served at Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers, MGM Grand and Windsor Plaza in various roles. Joining Le Méridien Saigon in 2014, Huy was one of the core members during pre-opening period as a Director of Rooms. In his new role as the hotel’s Executive Assistant Manager – Rooms, he will be overseeing the hotel’s front office, security, housekeeping, recreations and Spa and IT operations.
