Michele began singing with the Toronto-based swing band The Maisies in 2008, as well as with her own jazz group, The Elk Island Quartet. For several years Michele performed with her quartet aboard cruise ships and then began gigging in luxury hotels internationally in Ho Chi Minh City, Taipei, Beijing, New Delhi, Mumbai, and within Canada. She released her second original music EP, entitled "Cloud Machine," in the summer of 2016.
